Ed’s Precision Manufacturing, LLC possesses abilities in fastener manufacturing and modification that put us at the top of the highly competitive market. Located in Houston, TX, and having been in business for over 35 years, we offer everything, including: CNC turning, CNC milling, Swiss screw machining, and customizing standard fasteners. Our other skill-sets include rethreading, safety wire drilling, drilling of shanks, and slotting for both bolts and nuts-and that’s just the beginning. Over the course of our 35-years’ existence, we’ve modified well over 10 million fasteners.
Our specific range capacity with each of these broader categories is compelling. We feature a wide range of fastener types NACE and an ANSI and ASME-rated proficiency with each type. Our bolt-types include hex, hex head cap screws, T-bolts, shoulder bolts, dowels and pins, large diameter nuts, slotted nuts, tommy bar nuts modifications, pins, pipe plugs, rivets, screws, full and double end studs and washers. With our Cage Code 4E946 we are able to manufacture Mil-Spec fasteners and studs. Our bolt and head types are comprehensive, spanning 12-point, button, flathead, hexagon, Phillips, and Torx. Our thread types can only further our customers’ confidence in our ability to meet their production needs: ACME, metric, UNC, UNF, as well as specialty and non-standard premium threads are all a part of our expertise.
We can turn out production volumes of anywhere up to an annual maximum of 100,000 for fasteners of all types from metals such as alloy steels, aluminum, delrin, super alloys, brass, copper, inconel, and titanium, to non-metallic materials such as nylon, polyethylene, PTFE, and PVC. Our standard lead-time is a generous 4 weeks and under; we are more than willing and able to perform overnight and rush-jobs if the customer’s need is sufficient.
